Hi, I’m Poppy!
I fell in love with Stained Glass in 2022 when I completed a workshop. It was so much fun and I knew I wanted to invest in this hobby and continue my learning.
Fast forward a few years, I started Lead Hot Sand and now I absolutely love spending my time creating stained glass art.
As of 2026, I’m now running stained glass workshops, I’ve planned these workshops to be super beginner friendly, but making sure you leave with a piece you can be so proud of!
In my copper foiling workshops, you’ll learn the techniques used to create beautiful stained glass pieces, from choosing and cutting your glass to grinding, copper foiling and soldering. You’ll be guided through each stage step by step, so no previous experience is needed.
You’ll have the chance to work with a selection of colourful and textured glass, experiment with different combinations and create your very own unique piece to take home.
Whether you’re completely new to stained glass, looking to try something creative, or you would just like to spend a few hours making something beautiful, these workshops are designed for you to enjoy.
